Champions League Results-Liverpool 1-0 Real Madrid
The match between Liverpool and Real Madrid yesterday was a high level encounter in champion’s League. Both the teams are among the favorites of winning the Champions League this year. So it was like a clash of the Titans in which Liverpool had the last laugh. Both the teams charged their guns and weapons to overpower each other. The match was goal less draw up to the half time. But in the 82nd minute Liverpool winger Benayoun draw the difference with a fiery header to which Real Madrid goal keeper Casillas had no answer. Benayoun’s only goal turned him a hero and increased the chance of Liverpool to a higher step. This was the decider of the high frequency drama. Liverpool did not let their opponents to take any opportunities of the absence of playmaker Gerrard. On the part of Real Madrid Marcello and Robben made some great efforts but they were too wide.
