Exploring the Music World
Well i am writing this post on the demand of one of my visitors who wants to listen to good music. Well i am also a music freak. I listen to all types of music but i have a strong liking towards Rock Music. So let me start with Rock music.If you want to hear old Rock numbers then you should listen to bands The Beatles, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, etc. These are hard rock bands. Pink Floyd is a Psychedelic Rock band which is considered as one of the biggest Rock Band ever. Among the classical rock bands CCR( Credence Clearwater Revival),the Eagles, and the Doors can be mentioned. The song from the band CCR named Have You Ever Seen the Rain is one my favorites. Ozzy Osbourne is also a pioneer of hard rock numbers. The rock numbers like Crazy Train and Paranoid are one of the best creations by Ozzy Osbourne.The biggest rock band in the nineties were the Guns and Roses and Metallica. Guns and Roses created wave across the world. The magic of Axl Rose(lead singer) and Slash(lead guitarist) created many great rock numbers. Then Metallica came to gift the rock world with a new genre of rock called Heavy Metal. After the Guns and Roses, Nirvana led by Kurt Cobain created a new era. Nirvana produced another new rock genre called Alternate Rock or Grunge Rock. The album Nevermind became one of the best selling albums of all time. After the Nirvana era, punk rock started to become more popular. In this case Green Day and Avril Lavigne impressed a lot. In the present era Cold Play and Def Leppard is leading the line with many hit albums. If you want to listen to some really heavy and hard Metal numbers then you may listen to Korn, Marlyn Mansion etc.Now a days I have started listening to Audio Slave and Travis. They have also produced some great rock numbers. I will write about other genres later.
